Make has a blog entry about a VW jet car. This is just strange. One, why in the world would you put this in a VW Beetle? A Beetle isn’t known as the most impressive vehicle in the land, plus it doesn’t exactly lend itself design wise to mounting a rocket. Wouldn’t a truck be better for this?
Despite the odd choice of cars, this looks awesome. Only one question left, how fast does it go?

Okay, if that bug is not a figment of Photoshop or some other graphics program, then the reasoning for doing IS because it’s a bug. I mean how cool is that…you put a jet engine in a bug!!???!!! I mean if nothing else you get several points just for pulling it off.
