Sunday night we had some friends over and they showed us a couple of new games; nerts (card game) and farkle (dice game). Team play with nerts can get quite a little crazy, with hands flying all over the table. Farkle also goes by the name of 10,000, with variations on points.
UPDATE 10:55pm Sun 14 Aug 2005: Keith pointed out a good nerts resource, nertz.com. I suppose it would help if I spelled nertz correctly :-)

After my wife introduced me to Farkel I simply got addicted to it.
So much so that I wrote my own version for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.
