Thanks, Joseph. This talk was one of the main reasons I came to UTOSC this year. We badly needed it.

@Richard -
Good, glad to hear it was helpful
Wish I could have been there for this presentation – I love the math stuff.
Thanks!
hi! Joseph,
This a great slide! I would like to ask is the Master database master and the slave database should be synchronized? or they could run independently?
Thanks and more power,
Jed
btw, I’m refering to the PHASE 5 load balancing on slide 48.
@Jed -
That was referring to MySQL replication, which sends changes that happen on the master to the slave.
Thanks, Joseph for the fast reply. We are on a planning stage on a project and will be using WPMU do you have an idea on setting up Apache web server in clustering?
In addition, what are the most most recommended setup on a multiple blog as we look on slide 38 and what will be some pros and cons to be consider?
Thanks for this slideshow! I’ve been on a freehosted wordpress blog for a while, and I think it is finally time to jump to self hosting.
Nice slide show, but wait there’s more. Loved the use of Ginsu.
